Little Creek. Octagon schoolhouse. Located on Route 9, east of Cowgill's Corners. Built about 1836 of undressed stone. Designed by Manlove Hayes, an early educator. Was still in use in 1930.

Tallyville. Octagon school house. The "Eight Square School House." Built in or before 1919. One story. Brick. Located north of Tallyville, west of Route 202 ( Concord Pike), near Perry's Tavern. At one point it was being used as a residence. Its present status is unknown.
